Seeking Employment in Canada

victoria-inner-harbourOne of the most important subjects raised by immigration clients is that concerning jobs. We have come to realize that for the immigration applicant to feel relaxed about the process, is knowing that he/she can obtain meaningful employment prior to arrival in Canada or shortly after landing here. To support this need the following services are provided in support of Canadian immigration permanent residency:

  1. ARRANGED EMPLOYMENT AUTHORISATIONS are obtained from the Canadian Employment Ministry (HRSDC), and are applied for after an employer has been found who is prepared to make an offer of employment. These authorisations will ideally then accompany the immigration application at the time of lodgement. They are worth 15 immigration points and are an essential factor when there are insufficient immigration qualifying points. Moreover, it also means that the applicant has a job to go to once the immigration process has been completed. Immigration applications with an Arranged Employment attached to the lodged application are normally processed more quickly than those without an authorisation. The Arranged Employment authorisation will often mean that the applicant does not need to attend an immigration interview.
  2. JOB OFFERS FOR PNP IMMIGRATION APPLICATIONS. One of the most beneficial written job offers are those that accompany a PROVINCIAL NOMINEE PROGRAMME (PNP) application. PNP application approvals then accompany the federal immigration applications and are nearly always fast-tracked processed. In some cases, the nominating province like British Columbia for example, will also issue work permits in order that applicants can be working in Canada whilst their pr immigration applications are being processed. For those applicants who normally would have to wait many years for their immigration application to be processed, the PNP route is the route to seriously consider - for fast-track processing and immigration with a job.

For a list of current opportunities take a look at our jobs section.

NB: If you are interested in the PNP route and you have skills for example in the construction industry or as an HGV driver, then click the free assessment button and complete the questionnaire. If we provide you with a positive assessment we will send you an agreement and commencement instructions by return.
